Welcome Alumni and Friends!
History and Mission
The USC Aiken Alumni Association was founded in 1974 by a group of loyal alumni who wanted the University to prosper. The mission of the association is to serve, inform and engage the over 15,000 living alumni in the educational process of USC Aiken while supporting the interests of the University. Programs, events, and services are coordinated by the USC Aiken Office of University Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations in partnership with the Alumni Council.
In support of and consistent with the University Strategic Plan, Forward Together, http://web.usca.edu/forwardtogether/ the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Council have developed and are implementing four specific goals, which we refer to as M.E.R.G.:
· Increasing Membership
o (From an Alumni Membership of 6% to 15% )
· Engaging our Alumni
o (Networking with one another and the University)
· Student Recruitment and Retention
o (Increase participation in Student Recruitment and Retention activities)
· Increase the Giving rate
o (Increase the giving, time, talents, and treasures of our alumni)
